Deborah (Deb) Foote Schilling McClucas, 60, of New Providence, PA, departed this world suddenly, reuniting with her beloved mother and brother in the realm beyond on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. Her passing weighs heavily on the heart of her father, Sherman C. Foote, his last living relative. Born to Sherman and the late Jacqueline F W Foote of Lancaster, PA, Deb's journey was marked by both triumphs and trials. She began her academic journey in the halls of Manheim Twp schools until 1977, when her family's path led them to Armstrong's London office. There, she continued her education at the American School of London, where her prowess extended beyond academics to include track and field and gymnastics. Her athletic talents carried her to Paris, where she proudly represented American schools and earned medals in competition. Upon returning to Lancaster to complete her senior year, the family's relocation to Montreal presented Deb with new challenges. Despite opportunities for schooling in Montreal, she opted against it due to the requirement of learning French, a language she was not keen on mastering. Deb's professional journey reflected her resilience and determination. From her early days at a car sales shop to her tenure at a transmission shop and a subsequent role in a repair and inspection service garage—later acquired for her to manage—she navigated life's twists and turns with unwavering strength. However, two significant car accidents forced the sale of the garage, leaving her unable to work in her chosen field. Despite these setbacks, she persevered, finding solace in odd jobs to sustain herself. In her passing, Deb leaves behind cousins scattered across New Hampshire, Maine, Vancouver Island, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, as well as an aunt and uncle residing in Texas. Her absence leaves a profound void in the lives of those who cherished her deeply. A private burial service in her honor will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Milford, New Hampshire.
