Kenneth D. Reincke

Kenneth D. Reincke, 66, of Lancaster, passed away at the Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy, on Monday evening, January 23, 2017 following a 10 month illness. Born in Lancaster and a lifelong area resident, he was the son of the late Jack and Nancy Hutton Reincke. Ken served with the U.S. Army as a cook at Ft. Lee, VA. He worked for Armstrong World Industries for over 33 years as an inspector of the floor tile plant until he retired in 2003. After he retired, he worked for Conestoga View Nursing Center as a security guard until he left due to his illness in December. He was a member of Historic St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the Lancaster Veterans of Foreign Wars and Amvets. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, fishing and being with his dogs and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Ken is survived by his children; Michelle L. Reincke, Ronald T. Stilwell, Brian N. Stilwell, Corey M. Heiselman and Robert L. Stilwell all of Lancaster, his six grandchildren, his siblings; Daisy Erline of Mount Joy, Catherine, (Richard) Zink of Columbia, Jacqueline, (Richard) Ross of Manheim, Jack, Jr., (Arla) Reincke of Willow Street and George, (Lathesia) Reincke of Lancaster; several nieces and nephews, including Georgette and George Reincke; his companion, Mary M. Reppert and his former wife and good friend, Deborah A. Reincke. He was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Stanley. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at Historic St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 119 S. Prince St., Lancaster, PA on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Leo M. Goodman, III as celebrant. Interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. The family will receive friends at The Groffs Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 528 W. Orange at Pine Sts., Lancaster, PA on Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until departure for St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
