Samuel "Junito" Rodriguez, Jr.

Samuel “Junito” Rodriguez Jr., 43, of Ephrata, PA, passed away unexpectedly following a tragic motorcycle accident on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Born in Hershey, PA, he was the son of Rosamaria Ramos and Samuel Rodriguez. Family was everything to Junito, and he especially cherished his mother. Their bond was beyond words can describe. But simply put, they were best friends. Home was a place he knew he was always welcomed at. But being a brother was another one of the roles he held closest to his heart. To his little sister, he was her protector, the one who made sure she knew she was never alone and always had someone in her corner. To his brothers, he was someone who taught them to stand up for themselves, to be strong, and to never let the world walk all over them. He was, in every sense of the word, a brother they could count on. He was fiercely loyal, incredibly supportive, protective, generous, and, of course, funny. And those who knew him best also knew him to be stubborn as well. Junito loved being surrounded by the people he cared about. He enjoyed sharing drinks with his friends, listening to music, dancing, watching basketball, and simply spending quality time with his people. He had a way of making ordinary moments feel like memories, and his presence could light up a room. He also had a deep passion for riding motorcycles, a love that eventually led him to a second family in the Infamous Ryders Motorcycle Club, where he was affectionately known as “Mugz”, a nickname that reflected his tough exterior and unmistakable personality. But beneath that toughness was a deeply loving and soft-hearted man. Life had dealt Junito cards that often required him to be hard and guarded with the world, but those closest to him knew the heart he carried underneath it all. He loved deeply, showed up for the people he cared about, and remained loyal to those he called family. His strength was evident, but so was his love, and it was that combination that made Junito so incredibly special and unforgettable. Above all else, Junito treasured his four children. They were his pride and joy, and being their father was one of the greatest joys of his life. In addition to his parents, Rosamaria and Samuel, and his grandparents, Junito is survived by his four children, Darion, Aliveah, Zavion, and Mateo; as well as many brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the members of the Infamous Ryders Motorcycle Club, who shared countless memories with Junito and held a very special place in his heart. Their friendship and brotherhood meant so much to him and his family. Family and friends are invited to join us as we honor and celebrate the life of Junito at The Groffs Family Funeral Home, located at 528 W. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA. A Viewing will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. On Friday, September 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., a Funeral Service will be held in Junito’s honor, followed by his burial. The family will be receiving family and friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until the start of the service. In consideration of Junito and our family during this difficult time, we kindly ask that no cameras or photographs be taken inside the funeral home. We also respectfully ask that anyone who has been specifically asked not to attend the services honor and respect the family’s wishes.
