Tammy Lynn Greider

Tammy Lynn Greider, 44, of Ronks, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 surrounded by her loved ones, less than a month away from her 45th birthday. Earlier this month, Tammy was unexpectedly hospitalized after experiencing severe abdominal pain. Despite the efforts of her medical team, she passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Even in her final moments, Tammy’s compassion continued through the gift of organ donation. Her kidney and liver donations will give other families the opportunity for renewed life. Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Tammy attended Conestoga Valley High School. Throughout her life, she was known for her strong work ethic. She worked for R.R. Donnelly, built tractors at Case New Holland, and most recently, drove truck for Polymar. Tammy was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose greatest joy in life was her children, Ivyanna Colon-Greider and Kamari Sweeney. They were her proudest accomplishments, and she loved them unconditionally. She had a vibrant spirit and a heart full of compassion. Tammy loved animals and was a devoted cat mom to Claw’Dia and Aroura. She found joy in caring for her plants, spending time with those she loved, and unwinding with crime documentaries. She will be remembered for her kindness, passion, beautiful smile, and the love she gave freely to those around her. Tammy is survived by her mother, Brenda L. Greider and her companion, Jack Martin; her father, Gregory C. Greider and his wife, Cathy Dusel Greider; her daughter, Ivyanna Colon-Greider; and her son, Kamari Sweeney. She is also lovingly remembered by many extended family members and friends whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gregory R. Greider, with whom she is now reunited in Heaven. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Tammy’s Life at Mechanic Grove Church of the Brethren, 1392 Robert Fulton Hwy., Quarryville, PA on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
