Anna M. Wesley Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Anna M. Wesley, 78, of South Marshall Street, Lancaster, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital after an extended illness. Born in West Chester, PA, Anna was the widow of Donald E. Wesley and the daughter of the late Harry Bell, Sr. and Ida Mae Vann Bell. Anna was the former owner of Wesley Hauling which her son, Marcus has now taken over. Anna also worked for Kerr Glass and Hamilton Watch at one time. The most important thing in Anna’s life was her family. She did enjoy collecting antique knick-knacks, but nothing was more important than her children, grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is lovingly survived by her children, Gwendolyn E., wife of James E. Boots, Pamela Lorraine Wesley, Phyllis R. Wesley, fiancé of Ralph Spruill, Marcus E. Wesley, Sr., partner of Angela Thomas, Curtis M., husband of Jennifer Harris, Bryan, husband of Kelly Harris, Cassandra M. Harris, all of Lancaster, PA; brothers, Harry Bell, Jr., Reading, PA, Leon Bell, Frederick Bell, James Bell all of West Chester, PA; numerous grand and grea- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Wesley, son, Phillip Wesley, and grandsons, Jaylan Harris and Erick Trowery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Anna’s Homegoing Service at The Groffs Family Funeral Home, 528 W. Orange Street (corner of W. Orange & Pine Sts.), Lancaster, PA on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeffrey Bell officiating. The family will receive friends at The Groffs on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. The interment will take place at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
