George E. "Chip" Devonshire Jr.

December 27, 2021

George E. “Chip” Devonshire, Jr., 50, passed away to go be with his Dad on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born at the Base of Fort Stewart in Hinesville, GA, Chip was the son of the late George E., Sr. and Diane Elaine Walter Devonshire who lives in Lancaster. He graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School and worked in retail management in the electronics industry as well as many other professions in his life. Chip was goofy and sarcastic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and other outdoor activities. He was a tech nerd, a WFT fan. Loved Sci-Fi movies, Call of Duty, big family gatherings were his favorite and music of all types, particularly, Def Leppard. Chip is survived by a daughter, Brittany L. (Thomas) Stoltz, Columbia, PA, two sons, Josh R. Devonshire, and George E. III (Kailey Lefley-Ward) Devonshire, both of Manheim, PA, four grandchildren: Adrienne, Lilly, Joshua, Jr., and Thomas, Jr., a brother, Anthony T. (Tracey) Devonshire, a sister, Joline R. (Beau) Devonshire, both of Maytown and many loving nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Chip’s life will be held at the convenience of the family. Stay connected with the family for further details.
