Guadalupe Perez-Robles

Guadalupe Perez-Robles, of Middletown, PA, peacefully transitioned into the bosom of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at age 79. Lupe, as she’s affectionately known by family and friends was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico. She was the beloved daughter of Mr. Perez and Ms. Lucia Davila Rosario and separated wife of Jose Ramon Robles. Guadalupe was a Christian educator with many years of biblical studies leading to a Master’s Degree in Theology. She was a Chaplain with Lancaster County Prison for about ten years and worked with intellectually disabled adults for six years. She also taught as a Sunday School Teacher for about a decade at First Spanish Assembly of God Church in Lancaster, PA, before relocating to Florida. She helped many people including ministers of the gospel as a bilingual translator. She is survived by her two daughters, Lucy Molina of Middletown, PA and Yvonne Cruz of Harrisburg, PA, a brother, Magario Ortiz of Florida, and two sisters, Maridita Calderon Davila also of Florida and Rita Davila, Pennsylvania. She is preceded in death by three siblings, Ramon Garcia Davila, Gregory Ortiz, and Julia Baez Rijos Davila. Lupe will be greatly missed by her beloved family including six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, twenty nieces and nephews, forty-six great-nieces and nephews, and many other family members. She was a genuine lover of God and people, prayer warrior, and mother to many. She devoted her life to helping everyone she met. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Guadalupe’s viewing at The Groff Event Center, 234 West Orange Street, Lancaster, PA 17603 on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Masks will be required as well as social distancing.
