Maritza Villaronga

Maritza Villaronga, 66, of Hershey, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of Santa (DeAlba) Ayala and the late Reuben Ayala. Maritza graduated from Seward Park High School in Manhattan. She went on to work as a secretary for Children’s Services, and the MRI Group of Lancaster. She loved her family most of all and enjoyed cooking Spanish food for them. She enjoyed salsa music and dancing. Having been raised in a Christian home, Maritza loved the Lord. Her deep-rooted faith in God was something she treasured, and she made sure her children also knew of God’s greatness. Maritza was a fierce, fun-loving woman. She was adored by her family and will be greatly missed. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of over 25 years, Victor Villaronga; her children Betsy Rodriguez-Santiago (Miguel), Jerry Rodriguez (Maria), and Steve Rodriguez (Tabitha); siblings Iris Rohena, Raquel Malave-Ayala, Abraham Ayala, Janet Roman, and Hilda Dimopoulos; grandchildren Crystal, Alexa, Jordan, Ryan, Jeremiah, Jevin, and Jazmere; great-grandchildren Aleena, Chloe, Jayceon, Greyson, and Bealyn. She was preceded in death by her sister Ivelisse Perez. Memorial services will be private.
