Meri B. Kaufman Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Meri B. Kaufman, 66, of New Holland, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Silver Stream Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, PA, after a long illness. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Kaufman and Dorothy Kaufman. Meri was married to Graziela Medina on August 16, 2012, in Staten Island, NY. Meri graduated from the College of Staten Island, NY where she received her Master’s Degree In Psychology. Meri was also mentioned in the book Who's Who in Colleges and Universities. Meri helped many at-risk women in New Jersey where she was a counselor at Newark Renaissance House, Inc. in Newark, NJ. Most recently, she was studying with the Jews for Jesus, being raised in the Jewish faith. She enjoyed collecting Bradford Exchange plates, items of roosters and cows, and Marilyn Monroe memorabilia. She was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the New York Liberty of the WNBA and the NY Yankees. She loved all types of music, reading, trivia, and Jeopardy. Her pride and joy came from her love of animals, dogs and cats and birds, including her current pitbull, “Nina.” She is survived by her wife, Grace, and her cousins Mara Lawrence, Todd Kaufman, Lisa Burton, and Ted Kaufman. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Meri’s Life Celebration Memorial Service at The Groff’s Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at The Groff’s on Friday from 7:00 p.m. until the time of the service. The interment will be private.
