Pauline Rogers Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Pauline Rogers, a long-term resident of Birdsboro, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the age of 75. Her family was by her side during her transition. Pauline was born to James and Clotele Rogers, in Philadelphia, PA, where she grew up and attended Overbrook High School. Pauline attended St. Joseph’s University and graduated with a BA in Business Administration. She worked for many years as a records retention manager for a pharmaceutical manufacturer. She was a member of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a Deaconess, Trustee/Financial Secretary, and an active member of the prayer services and the choir. She was always happy to volunteer and support special church events. She also enjoyed traveling including trips to Africa, Asia, and many other destinations. Pauline is survived by her sisters, Pamela Neal and Maida Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, James Rogers, sister-in-law, Thelma Rogers and sisters, Norma Rogers and Savine Dunlap and her brother-in-law, Russell Neal. Pauline and the Family truly appreciated her relationships and support from her friends, neighbors, and church family who have befriended her and provided support during her illness. A special thank you to Jeanne Joseph, Lisa Niles, and Rose Symington. A Memorial Service will be held at The Groffs Family Funeral Home, 528 West Orange Street, Lancaster, PA 17603 on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Jerry Jones officiating. The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. Please note, the family requests that masks be worn for the viewing and service. Masks will be available, if needed.
