Andrew David Dionne

Andrew David Dionne, 54, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Monday, April 13, 2026. Born in Montreal, Canada, he was the son of the late David B. Dionne and Andrea (Borge) Dionne and the loving husband to Julie (Hess) Dionne for 30 years. Growing up in Portland, ME, Andrew graduated from Cheverus H.S. and then attended Southern Vermont College where he received his bachelor's degree in environmental science. Andrew excelled in athletics throughout his time in high school and college, including soccer and track and field. It was in college that he met his best friend and faithful wife, Julie. They were married in Kennebunkport ME, and moved to Lancaster in 1999 to raise their beautiful family. Andrew was a reserve specialist in the engineering profession and worked in Maine for EER before Yingst Engineers in Hershey and The Falcon Group. Later in his career, he started his own company, Reserve Metrics which afforded him the freedom to spend more time and be present with his family. Andrew discovered the grace of Jesus at the age of 28 and never wavered in his pursuit to continually grow closer with the Lord. Andrew's desire was that his children and family would have a relationship with Jesus and experience the same grace that he received. He attended LCBC Church in Manheim where his faith was nourished. He was grateful to be a part of the Forever Families (Adoption Group) at LCBC with his wife for many years and as of recently participated in a men’s group there. Andrew cherished spending time with his family, and he was a very present husband, father and grandfather. He loved sharing his passion for physical activity with his family, including playing tennis, soccer and many other recreation sports. Andrew treasured music, the ocean, and a good coffee with his wife. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Madeline R. (Alexander) Whitt, Lancaster, Ethan B. Dionne, Landisville, Joel A. (Alexis) Dionne, Mount Joy, Annika N. Dionne, and Sophia E. Dionne both of Landisville, three grandchildren: Walker, Willow and Wylie, his sister, Rachel D. Tsacle (Peter), San Francisco, CA and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Andrew was preceded in death by his cousin, Serjei Cahuantzi. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Andrew’s Funeral Service at Community Fellowship Church, (Bethel Dr. Location), on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bobby Parschauer officiating. The family will receive friends and hold a Viewing on Friday evening, April 17, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 9:30 am until time of service at the Church. Interment will be held at Witness Park Cemetery in Lititz, PA.
