Jack L. Laser

Jack L. Laser passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026, at the age of 24. Born in Lancaster, PA, he is the son of Deborah Beans and Christopher Laser. Jack was an ice hockey player and avid gamer. From the age of seven, Jack played ice hockey first with the Central Penn Panthers and then the Firebirds travel teams. A 2020 graduate of Conestoga Valley High School, Jack loved playing ice hockey, lacrosse, and golf for the school. He also enjoyed spending his time playing CS:GO with his teammates and helped pave the way to get an ESports team started at his High School. He went on to West Virginia University and was on the gaming team there. From the age of 15, Jack could be found working the grill at the local wing shop, Joe’s Famous, where he developed strong relationships with not only his co-workers but also the many repeat customers. He also spent time providing for the community as he proudly volunteered at Meals on Wheels. Not only did he help in the kitchen, he also had his own route for deliveries. Jack had an infectious, magnetic personality, having the ability to make friends with everyone he met. Although usually quiet, Jack could be picked out in a crowd by his unique laugh and witty side jokes. For the last year, Jack was involved in a thriving AA community in Baltimore. He loved helping to set up the meetings and the friendships he made there. His favorite was Rule 62! Jack is survived by his mother, Deborah Beans, and father, Christopher Laser, husband to Jen Laser, brothers, Devyn Laser and Dylan Laser, husband to Natalie Laser, nephews, Charlie and Finn Laser, and niece, Millie Laser. Additionally, he is survived by his grandparents, Cindy and Kenny Bannon, Larry and Amy Beans, Barbara Edwards, Jay and Bev Laser and great-grandmother, Marilyn (Nan) Wilson, his aunts, Jeni Laser and Laree Beans, wife of Chris Balshi and his cousins, Lenni and Brick Balshi. A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held at The Groffs Family Funeral Home, 528 W. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA 17603 on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. The family will hold a Visitation from 3:00 p.m. until the service.
