Juan Santiago Santiago, 77, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. He was the loving husband of Ilvia Rodriguez-Coello. Born in Ponce, PR, he was the son of Juan Santiago and Maria Santiago. He worked in the construction industry and was an active member of the Iglesia de Dios en Cristo La Senda, Port St. Lucie, FL, and his community. He was deeply committed to serving others; he shared the gospel through personal evangelism, volunteered at the food pantry, and gave generously to those in need. He enjoyed traveling, being surrounded by his family, and loved his dog Susi, who sadly passed away a few years ago. He is survived by his children: Haydee Seguinot and her husband Robert (CT), Judy Amador and her husband Frank (NJ), Maribel Rivera and her husband Jose (Lancaster), Elizabeth Bedolla and her husband Reyes (Wrightsville), Carlos Santiago and his wife Renee (Marietta), Janet Medina and her husband Joel (York), Jaritza Irizarry and her husband Wilbert (FL), Ysara Santiago and her husband Khalil Phinizee (Lancaster), Mailin Santiago (Philadelphia). His sisters: Ileana Santiago (Lancaster), Christina Santiago (Orlando), Mirta Santiago (Tampa), Judith Santiago (PR), Guillermina Santiago (PR), Margarita Santiago (PR), Milagros Santiago (PR), and Eladia Santiago (PR). His brothers: Harry Santiago (Lancaster), and Luis Santiago (PR). He also has 31 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two twin daughters, his brothers Orlando and Daniel Santiago, his sister Esperanza Santiago, his granddaughter Tania Wise, and his great-grandson Josiah Wise. Juan Santiago was a man of simple pleasures, best known by those who loved him for his signature collection of ‘I Love Jesus’ hats. He didn’t need traditional hobbies to fill his days; instead, he poured his energy into loving his family. He brought warmth, laughter, and light to everyone he met. When his health took a turn for the worse, he always stayed positive and grounded for those around him. He was the glue that held people together. Juan was selfless, and his love was fierce. Above all, he was kind, smart, funny, and incredibly devoted to his family. He faced life’s challenges as a true fighter, leaving behind a legacy of strength, laughter, and faith. While he will be missed deeply, his spirit remains with us always. Family and friends are invited to attend Juan’s Funeral Service at The Groffs Family Funeral Home, 528 W. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA on Friday, June 26, 2026. The Viewing will be at 1:30 p.m., followed by the service at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Israel Irizarry officiating. Interment will be held at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery following the service. Contributions in Juan’s name may be made to the Humane Society - SPCA for his love of animals.
